Mr. Kinias has extensive experience in project management, training, environmental sustainability and institutional capacity building in the US and Middle East.
Most recently he was the CEO of Optimal, LLC, an American consulting firm specializing in training and institutional strengthening of water/wastewater, telecommunications and power generation utilities in the Middle East. Prior to that, he was the project director of a design, construction management and institutional capacity building projects in Egypt, considered to be one of the largest USAID-funded projects in the world.
His US-based experience was in environmental design and training and was one of the pioneers of training and operations and maintenance (O&M) practices of infrastructure facilities. Served as one of the vice presidents of a large environmental firm and was the national director of their training and O&M projects. Earlier in his career, Mr. Kinias was the Executive Director of the National Environmental Training Association and the Director of the Indiana Environmental Training Center.
